I integrate psychodynamic therapy, which can offer doors to untangling thought and behaviour patterns, with person-centred therapy, which provides a compassionate environment where you may find authenticity and agency. I draw on Existential psychotherapy to navigate through life’s uncertainties, and Relational practices to nurture a therapeutic relationship that can provide a site for healing.
In addition to listening to verbal descriptions of experiences and feelings, I listen to the clues given by the body and mind through reflection on somatic experience, metaphor, and visual imagery.
The therapeutic process is co-created, and our working methods will be shaped in collaboration. I consider my clients to be experts on themselves, and work in alignment with each client’s cultural frame and physicality.
I have worked with clients with a range of experiences, including but not limited to bereavement, trauma, stress, anxiety and depression, compulsive behaviours and addiction, burn-out, diverse relationship issues, and abuse. My practice is sex worker allied and kink-aware, and open to all.
I specialise in working affirmatively with people who are LGBTQIA+.
